This is tough question because there are so many hidden gems out there! One place that really surprised me was Lisbon, Portugal. It doesn’t get as much hype as Rome or Paris, but it’s such a beautiful city with friendly locals, amazing food and lots of history. The mix of old charm and modern culture makes it so unique. Plus the weather is amazing all year around
Washington DC. There is a great mix of history, culture, good food and shopping. The Monument is amazing. It’s 3 hours from New York by train so doable to combine.
